i sprained my ankle in york yesterday and am now feeling sorry for myself, lying in bed, listening to martha wainwright and scooping nutella out of the jar with my finger.
classy!
even managed to write.
i want to write a series of monolgues ofr the stage that follows someone thru their life.
i wrote the first one. its short and i had to write it in text format on my phone in the car yesterday.

Working in The Shed makes my brain cry.
for anyone who actually went to the University of Lincoln and at least attempted a social life, they will know how bloody busy and demanding it can get in there. Especially when it come to daytime food orders.
Examples of my week...
Customer - Ummm hi, i was wondering where my food is
Me - Theres a 20 - 30 min wait on all food orders mate.
Customer - Well i ordered it like 20 minutes again
Me - riiiight....?!
Customer - so where is it?
My brain - WHHHYYYYY ARE YOU A STUDENT?!??!
Me - two cheeseburgers and some onion rings
customer - we ordered a lasagna and smothered chicken as well
Me - and when i find my extra pair of attachable arms, i'll bring them too.
customer - *blank stare*
My Brain - WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY?!??!?!?!!

what a shit day.
actually no. it was a good day for a while.
was in lincoln with the girlfriend and it was brill but then she got a phone call to say her mum was in hospital and has 48hrs to live.
HOW FUCKING FUCKED UP IS THAT!
its shit. completly wank infact.
i took her back to sheffield on the train and then got a train back to cambs, finally gettin ghome at half ten though i should of really got back at half twelve but my amazing mother came and got me from p'boro.
am doing all i can to be thee for her but her family dont know we are together and for m to be there would be wrong and only confuse matters. plus i have to be at work coz we have 3 members of staff to wrk 7 days a week... ummm yeah, good one!
on another note, i am thinking of doing another degree. either something artsy and design like or randomly, something medical. was looking at radiography at sheffield hallam.
but yeah, lifes great till it turns shit and out of everyone who deserves shit, laura is the most unlikly candidate. nobody should be sat at their mothers death bed when they are only 22. its fucked up and wrong!!!

For those who have macs (as i dont know if you can use it with a pc) you HAVE to buy Delicious Library.
Its $35 and is amazing!
Basically you either type in or 'scan' the barcode of any book, cd, dvd or game using your webcam and it stores all the info into a virtual bookshelf on your computer. you can then add notes, borrowers etc to it and have a record of all you own! Brill if you have millions of books and dvds like me and are having to box up and pack away everything!

only got it yesterday so only have 98 books on it so far. two zillion to go... and then its dvd time...eeeek!
